Were you referring to an error in the pinout for the TPIC6B595DW? Upon review, we couldn't replicate the issue—the pinout in our model is based on Figure 4-1 of the official datasheet: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpic6b595.pdf
If you were referring instead to the pin arrangement within the symbol, we’ve updated it to follow the layout shown in Figure 8-1 (Application Schematic) of the datasheet. You can now download the revised version and use it in your design.
As a general practice, we arrange pins based on logical signal flow and common schematic standards—inputs on the left, outputs on the right, power at the top right, and ground at the bottom right. This convention aligns with the preferences of most engineers and widely accepted industry standards.
