Dear SnapMagic Support Team,
I have recently downloaded a component model from your platform, but I am encountering issues when trying to import it into CircuitMaker (version 2.3.0). Each time I attempt to open the file, I receive an "Invalid Format" error message.
When downloading the model, I selected the "Altium" format as it seemed to correspond to the format needed for CircuitMaker, which is based on Altium Designer. However, I am unsure if "Altium" is specifically intended to mean "Altium Designer." Could this discrepancy be the cause of the compatibility issue?
Could you clarify if SnapMagic models are fully compatible with Altium Designer or CircuitMaker? If so, could you guide me on how to properly use your models in these tools, or let me know if there are any specific steps or settings required?
Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to your guidance on how to resolve this issue.
Best regards,

Hello again,
This is Carlos stepping in for Ron, thanks for patiently waiting. CircuitMaker does not support direct import of integrated libraries from Altium Designer, as it uses its own library system called the 'Vault' and CIIVA. For more information on CircuitMaker's library structure, please refer to the 'Component Manager in CircuitMaker' section of the documentation.
https://www.altium.com/documentation/altium-circuitmaker/quickstart-component-management
This section explains the concept of the CM library and how CIIVA, Symbols, and Footprints are connected but separate. Community members have suggested workarounds for footprints, but not for entire libraries. You can find more information on this in the following two threads:

Kindly let us know if you need anything else. We'd be happy to help!
