Pin Order based on dot position

If I understand, the correct pin number is one with a dot next to it, and the square pad is the + pin.
I suspected that one to be the ground.

Hi there,
The dot mark in the footprint serves as the pin-1 indicator to be consistent with the device marking as well. The pin-1 indicator is placed near pad 1 for all parts to ensure the correct orientation is followed when the component is being mounted to the board.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Kind regards,
Roman
